Our Facility
The Westfield Cooperative Nursery School offers a safe, warm, and inviting environment where children learn and play. The school is housed in the McCorrison Center for Education at the First Congregational Church, located at 125 Elmer Street in Westfield, NJ. Our phone number is 908-233-4501.
Each bright and cheery classroom offers areas designed to foster learning and social interaction. The classrooms are organized into learning centers, which include a creative play center, arts and crafts, library, science, writing, music, and a carpeted area for block play, floor puzzles and circle time.

Children are encouraged to move throughout the room during each session in order to experience each of the learning centers. The rooms are furnished with a vast selection of toys, puzzles, games, books, blocks, dress-up clothes, a kitchen, and other age appropriate materials. The science area in each room houses a changing array of items for children to explore. Bulletin boards showcase the children's artwork and the walls are decorated with nursery rhyme and Eric Carle inspired murals.

During inclement weather, when outdoor play is not possible, the school brings outdoor fun indoors to Ketcham Hall! This large room allows for indoor trike-riding, climbing and sliding, and large-toy play. Equipped with a variety of gross-motor activities, this room also houses the Lunch Bunch program, the annual Co-op Olympics, and the Spring Fun Fair.
